We are a Mussel Processing and Export company operating on both a day and night shift.  The starting hourly rate for floor staff (i.e. packers, graders) is $12.50 with the starting hourly rate for cleaners at $18.00.  Mussel openers average hourly rates is $15 plus with the faster more experienced openers earning more.  Accommodation is available in both backpackers and caravan parks.  Applicants should be able to have an understanding of and be able to read English. You must have a working holiday visa if you are not a New Zealand resident and an IRD number for tax purposes. All applicants are expected to work a minimum of four weeks before moving on.
