Founded by Geoff, a highly experienced professional with a background in hydrographic surveying, Hydrocorp NZ is built on decades of expertise. Geoff served for 21 years in the Royal New Zealand Navy, where he charted the coastlines of New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Following his military career, Geoff transitioned to the offshore industry, specialising in subsea navigation and contributing to the installation of offshore fiber optic cable networks across New Zealand, South America, and Asia.
Geoff’s career then led him to the Middle East, where he spent a decade managing diverse projects, including a major four-year initiative for Shell in Iraq. Upon his return to New Zealand, he assumed a leadership role, managing a team of project managers overseeing subdivision projects in Whitianga and the Waikato region.
In the past 18 months, Geoff has broadened Hydrocorp NZ’s reach with multiple international projects in Saudi Arabia and Western Australia. His expertise has been crucial in onsite logistical management and the daily coordination of aerial surveys, as well as the successful execution of numerous subdivision projects in Whitianga and the greater Waikato region.
