Peninsula Cars Auto Service Centre is on the lookout for an experienced Automotive Technician to join the team in Whitianga.
About the Role
This is a full-time position where you’ll play a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality servicing and repairs across a wide range of vehicles, helping keep our workshop running at its best.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical and suspension
- Carry out routine servicing and safety inspections
- Use modern diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Work alongside the team to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience
- Keep up to date with industry trends, tools and best practices
- Support ongoing improvements within the workshop
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant automotive qualifications or similar experience
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability across a range of vehicles
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
- Good communication skills with both customers and team members
- A team player who contributes positively to the workplace
