The Men in the photo – ANZAC exhibition

Our new exhibition – ‘The Men in the Photo’ is now open!
This is our ANZAC exhibition for 2024 and centres around three photos in our collection of local men going off to World War 1.
The exhibition tells their stories along with stories about Alf Simpson and the drive named after him and we also look at the history of the Mercury Bay cenotaph.
The exhibition also has a roll of honour and 28 crosses symbolising the men we lost in World War 1 and 2.
The exhibition is open from 1st April – 24th May 2024.
We would like to thank the Mercury Bay RSA for collaborating with us and funding this years exhibition.
Therefore all Mercury Bay RSA members are entitled to free admission over this time – just show your membership card at the front desk.
